Models Comparison – “Jasper Lake” vs. “Gemini Lake”
The device is designed without a fan and is based on an Intel Celeron J4125 from the “Gemini Lake” series or the Intel Celeron N5105 from the “Jasper Lake” series, whose four x86 cores are sufficient for many less demanding tasks. The chips are combined with eight gigabytes of soldered LPDDR4 RAM.
What About performance?
Most likely, the MeLE PCG02 Pro is not a good fit for gamers and more for desktop users seeking a portable PC solution literally in the palm of their hand, which is enough for most users.

What’s new under the Hood?
The CPU performance of the Celeron N5105 is 32% higher than the Celeron J4125, and graphics should be significantly faster with twice the number of execution units and a higher GPU operating frequency. Both mini PC comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro and are Linux-supported. Users are not limited to Windows OS, so it’s possible to use it with popular Linux distributions such as Ubuntu and Debian.
An Improved Small Form factor
The MeLE PCG02 Pro is a cross bread of a mini PC Box and a portable dongle device. It’s larger than a Mini PC Dongle and can be categorized as a pocket-sized computer, almost as big as a mobile phone. It’s super portable to carry outdoors, with dimensions measuring 146 x 61 x 20mm. The main highlight of the products is probably the built-in onboard M.2 NVMe/SSD socket that allows the user to expend internal storage of up to 4TB.
As with most Mele Mini PCs, It’s also possible to mount the MeLE PCG02 Pro on the back of a TV or monitor using an included VESA mount (Bracket) and short HDMI cable or hide it behind a monitor or even a tiny size desk without occupying extra desk space.
Dual HDMI Display ports
The dual HDMI ports function implemented in the Mele Mini PCs series also exists in the MeLE PCG02 Pro model. This feature is handy for productive desktop users who favor multitasking while working on both displays.
Fanless Design (Passive cooling)
The MeLE PCG02 Pro is not an exception from their previous Mini PCs designs. MelE’s design approach focuses on passive cooling, ensuring zero noise without any internal fans. Based on their design, they have added an aluminum cooling plate that serves as a big Heatsink covering most PCB components, such as RAM and CPU Chips.
