POCO F3 5G & POCO X3 Pro Series Finally announced
Together with the Poco X3 Pro announced yesterday (Monday, 22.3.21) and unveiled the “Poco” Xiaomi’s sub-brand, the Poco F3, which places greater emphasis on performance and integrates Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 processor at top clock speed Crossing the 3GHz threshold, 5G support and a price starting at 349 euro.
POCO F3 5G vs. POCO X3 Pro – Hardware
Poco X3 Pro has a 6.67-inch FHD + LCD dot display, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a resolution of 1080 p. The X3 Pro’ s display is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 6, which improves durability. Poco X3 Pro has a new Snapdragon 860 processor and no 5G connection. The Snapdragon 860 processor is a new Qualcomm chipset based on the old version 855. X3 Pro with DDR4X RAM is equipped with UFS 3.1 storage. These features should make the device one of the best performing devices at this price point.
The X3 Pro has the same 5,160mAh battery as its non-Pro version, with a 33W fast charging function and also runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12. It comes equipped with an infrared transmitter, headphone jack and NFC.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco showed off its new Poco F3 and Poco X3 Pro budget-friendly, value-driven smartphones. The price of the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version of Poco F3 starts at 349 Euros an d is equipped with a Snapdragon 870 processor with 5G connectivity. Poco X3 Pro’ s 6GB RAM, 128 GB storage version and Snapdragon 860 processor start at only 249 Euros.
Poco F3 has a 6.67-inch HDR 10+ AMOLED flat panel display with a peak brightness of 1300 nits, a re fresh rate of 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. The screen also has True Display technology similar to Apple’s TrueTone function, which can adjust the white balance of the display according to li ght conditions.

5G and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity
Poco’s new product uses the Snapdragon 870 processor with 5G and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. The Snapdragon 870 processor is a newly launched chipset based on the earlier 865 by Qualcomm. F3 runs Android 11 with MIUI 12. The device has an upgraded Qualcomm Kryo 585 CPU, main core frequency, which can reach a maximum of 3.2 GHz. Combined with its Qualcomm Adreno 650 GPU and Dolby Atmos dual speakers, the phone’s gaming experience sounds promising in terms of audio quality and performance. Poco F3 integrates LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus function, which can further improve game performance. Poco F3 also features LPDDRS memory and UFS 3.1 storage.
F3 features a triple camera system, including a 48MP main camera sensor, a 119° ultra-wide-angle lens an d a 5MP telephoto lens. The telephoto macro camera allows users to shoot detailed objects from ver y close places. The front camera is a 20MP sensor with a perforated design and supports night mode. Poco F3 also has an audio zoom function for video recording, which helps to improve audio quality w hen shooting.
The Poco X3 Pro model features a four-camera system with a 48MP main camera. The 48MP sensor is used in conjunction with other ultra-wide-angle, macro and depth cameras. The front camera is a 20MP punch-hole sensor with night mode photography capabilities .
The device also has an X-axis linear haptic motor, which can bring better haptic performance, especially during games. The F3’s fingerprint sensor is located in the power button on the side of the phone. Poco F3 uses a 4,520mAh battery and has a 33W wired fast charging function. This affordable new performance phone will be available in three colors-Arctic White, Night Black and Deep Ocean Blue. Poco X3 Pro now has an improved back cover design, with matte glass finishes on the sides to improve anti-fingerprint performance. If not, the design is almost identical to the one of Poco X3.
Price and availability
There will be two different versions of Poco F3. The cheaper version will be equipped with 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage, starting at 349 euros, with a special price of 299 euros. The price of the 8 GB RAM and 256GB storage version is 399 Euros, and the special price is 349 Euros. Poco F3′ s pricing is very aggressive, and it offers a phone with an amazing performance at a great value price. The new handset will be available in three colors: metallic bronze, frost blue and ghost black.
