main Features
1. RGB Lighting 🌈 and Customization
The RK805 keyboard is pretty cool when it comes to lighting effects. You’ve got a ton of ways to customize it and make it your own. The backlight lets you pick from various colors and effects, and you can easily change things up using the knob next to the keyboard’s display. It’s all about making it personal!
In its default setting, the keyboard lights up with a cool mix of colors that changes randomly. Plus, you can choose from a bunch of awesome color effects. Overall, it looks fantastic, and we really liked it.

2. Brightness and Color Options
The brightness settings on the keyboartd allow users to tailor their visual experience exactly as they like. The keyboard offers several brightness levels, enabling users to adjust the glow to a soothing dim or crank it up to a high-intensity blaze. As for color options, the entire spectrum includes up to eight colors to choose from, creating an authentic RGB experience. With a wide range of color choices, users can create themes for different games or workspaces, providing a custom feel tailored to their daily activities
3. Lighting Modes and Effects
The lighting modes and effects on the Rii RK805 are super cool and let your creativity pop! You can choose from flashing lights to smooth fades, and it’s super easy to switch between different preset lighting modes depending on what you like. There are awesome effects like waves, spirals, and rainbows that can really jazz up your gaming space, making it feel way more exciting!
4. Responsiveness and Typing Experience
Responsiveness is super important when it comes to gaming. The keyboard really shines here with its quick key actuation, which is just what you need for those fast-paced games. You’ll find that each keypress is spot-on, making sure that all your moves count. Plus, it has this cool anti-ghosting feature that boosts accuracy even more, letting you press several keys at once without any weird mix-ups.
Anti-Ghosting
Anti-ghosting is a feature that makes sure every key you hit on your keyboard gets picked up, no matter how many keys you press at once. This is super important for gamers, typists, and anyone who needs to type a bunch of things at the same time. Sometimes, you might hear people call it N-Key Rollover (or NKRO for short), and it has become a must-have in today’s gaming and productivity keyboards.
So, here’s how it works: with anti-ghosting, every key works on its own. You can press as many keys as you want at the same time, and they’ll all be registered.
For gamers, having an anti-ghosting keyboard is key for top-notch performance. It lets you hit multiple keys at once, which is really important for pulling off tricky moves and actions quickly and accurately. If your keyboard doesn’t have anti-ghosting, you might run into problems like lag or missed inputs, which can totally mess with your gameplay.
Equivalent to a touch screen test where a number of touchpoints define the accuracy of the display panel, we challenged ourselves by testing the number of keys (buttons) that can be pressed simultaneously. In our assessment, we utilized the Keyboard Ghosting Interactive Demonstration provided by Applied Science at Microsoft. to our surprise, as much as this test is accurate, 10 of our buttons were successfully recognized as clickable.
5. Ergonomics for Extended Use
When you’re talking about keyboards, comfort is key, especially if you’re planning to game for hours on end. The RK805 is built with that in mind, so it’s pretty comfy to use. Plus, the buttons really respond well, which is a nice bonus!
6. Noise Levels
Mechanical keyboards are usually pretty loud and clicky, but the Rii RK805 really finds a sweet spot between noise and performance. It’s quiet enough not to be a hassle in a shared workspace. In our personal impression, the keys produce a pleasant, gentle click without being overly noisy.
