Hardware / System Information

CPU-Z

The X1 comes with a low-end quad-core Celeron N5105 processor running at clock frequency of 2.90 GHz, with options for either 4 or 8GB of RAM variants, and in higher-level models expandable up to 16GB. The base model, priced at an appealing $109.99, includes 4GB of RAM and excludes eMMC storage – however, a Micro-SD Card socket is available. To fulfill additional storage needs, users can utilize the M.2 2280, which is expandable up to 2TB.

The M.2 socket provides extra storage value and is very useful for storing large files, multimedia, and extensive software applications. Regardless of whether you are a student, professional, or casual user, the X1 offers the perfect blend of flexibility and convenience, satisfying all storage needs. You can utilize the device as a NAS or Plex server, running under Linux or Windows OS.

Running Linux Mint 21.3 (Cinnamon edition)

Our experience with running Mint Linux was incredibly smooth and rewarding. We were amazed to discover that even after running intensive tasks, we still had around 6GB of free RAM out of the initial 8GB. Additionally, the CPU core frequencies performed well, maintaining temperatures within the optimal range of 43-50 °C.
