The Blitzwolf BW-GS3 gaming speaker is a soundbar wired speaker with a very low price tag starting as low as $27. We are talking about a well-crafted soundbar speaker suited for entertainment uses. It comes with impressive LED RGB lighting, as well as a modern exterior that looks cool and trendy.

Looking at the front side of the speaker, there you can find all of the necessary interfaces any beginner gamer would love to have, which include a microphone and 3.5mm headphone jack sockets. For the volume adjustment, you can find the volume knob that also functions as the power button as well as LED control. Design & Build Quality

The speaker features a modern-looking curved “banana” style-shaped shell design. On the front side, you have the volume knobs, headphone, and microphone sockets including the headphone/ speaker mode selection button.

Build-quality was surprisingly good. Not what you expect from a $27-30 product. The Speaker is completely made from high-quality plastic shell and we didn’t find any flaws or problems worth mentioning.

Sound Quality

Powered by a pair of 5W drivers (each) with a total of 10 Watts located on the upper side of the speaker and not on the forward side, giving the speaker an improved 360 degrees sound dispersing effect. Based on our own test, the sound was clear with a good bass effect.

Interfaces

One of the advantages of the speaker is the option to connect headphones/earphones through a 2.5 mm headphone located on the front of the speaker, which is very comfortable from a user’s perspective.

On top of that, BlitzWolf also added an external 2.5 mm microphone socket so you can connect an external microphone device, for example, a clip-style microphone, or gaming headphones according to your personal preference.

Loudness

If you are searching for a speaker that will tear your ears, then this speaker is not the right choice for you. Based on our subjective perception of the speaker volume levels, you can expect this speaker more ideal when used in small to medium size rooms, for example in a 2-3 sqm living room or bedroom.

RGB Lights

The BlitzWolf BW-GS3 RGB LED lights are located on the bottom of the speaker. The lights are not too intense bright or dazzling looking at it directly. Also when you sit in front of the computer with the speaker positioned on a table and LED lights on, it delivers decent lighting conditions, including a great visual experience.

In standard operation mode without adjusting special settings, the speaker will switch between different RGB colors randomly. If you want to switch between random to a fixed color mode, or completely turn the light off you can do that simply by quickly pressing the volume knob.

Final verdict

Although the Blitzwolf BW-GS3 does not have Bluetooth functionality, it offers real value for the Buck, including solid build quality as well as a fresh and youthful appearance for just $39.99. Bottom line, if you just need a good PC speaker that looks great with above-decent sound quality, we definitely recommend buying one!
