Equipped with the RZ/V2M MPU, the BPI-AI2N boasts remarkable AI acceleration at 15 TOPS (sparse) and high-performance computing powered by four Cortex-A55 processors. The Renesas RZ/V2N vision AI MPU (microprocessor unit) delivers exceptional low-power efficiency, consuming approximately 1.5 watts under typical operating conditions. This remarkable efficiency removes the necessity for cooling fans, making it the perfect choice for compact, budget-friendly embedded systems.

System on a module (SoM)

BPI-AI2N Main Carrier Board

The board is equipped with a 260-pin SODIMM connector, facilitating seamless integration with the system-on-module (SOM). This advanced carrier board features few notable features such as an integrated Wi-Fi module, complemented by two USB 3.0 ports and two Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) ports. It also provides three IPX sockets for connecting external Wi-Fi antennas, an HDMI port, a MicroSD slot, and two MIPI interfaces for external camera connections, alongside a MIPI display port. Additionally, for enhanced storage capabilities, it includes a Key-M M.2 slot located at the rear of the board.
