Installing NVMe Cards
Youyeetoo offers the NestDisk Mini PC, featuring 12GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC internal flash storage, available in two primary configurations: one with 1TB NVMe and the other with 512GB. You can also choose to purchase a fan-based USB cooling solution to help dissipate heat from the bottom cover of the device.
The NVM compartment cover (buttom cover)
The NVM compartment can accommodate up to four 2880 NVMe cards, allowing for a total maximum capacity of 16TB, provided each NVMe has a capacity of 4TB.
The photos below show that the compartment cover has a fin-type design and contains four thermal pads on the opposite side. Alternatively, you could choose to completely remove the cover and consider getting longer rubber legs and larger heat sinks for each NVMe, as this could potentially enhance cooling.
Benchmark tests
After wiping our NVMe and installing a fresh copy of Windows 11 Pro, we ran CrystalDiskMark to assess our NVMe performance, and the initial results appear promising.
