Part I: Xiaomi 13T – Introduction and features
Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro models
The latest Xiaomi 13T smartphone boldly incorporates the powerful Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset developed by MediaTek, while its counterpart, the Xiaomi 13T Pro, goes even further by embracing the extraordinary Dimensity 9200+ chipset. While both chip systems are produced using a 4 nanometer manufacturing process, the latter boasts an additional feature: a robust Cortex-X3 central core that can reach an impressive maximum operating frequency of 3.35 GHz.
There may be a few disparities in storage capacity and working memory; the standard model is equipped with an impressive 12 gigabytes of working memory and 256 gigabytes of storage capacity. However, if you opt for the pro model, you’ll be thrilled to find a staggering 1 terabyte of storage capacity and an impressive 16 gigabytes of working memory at your disposal.
Both devices offer a 6.67-inch screen on the front, with a CrystalRes AMOLED panel, with a 1.5K resolution and a layout of 2712 x 1220 pixels. The refresh rate of the display can range from 30 to 144 Hz, with a density of 446 pixels per inch and a maximum brightness that can reach up to 2600 nits.
Xiaomi 13T Pro
The phone display features the same display characteristics with 1B colors, 144Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR10+. The device is built with a glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), ceramic back or silicone polymer back, aluminum frame and supports IP68 dust/water-resistant (up to 1.5 m for 30 min).
The sensors include under display, optical fingerprint, accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass, barometer, and color spectrum. The device is equipped with a Li-Po 5000 mAh battery and supports Xiaomi’s powerful 120W HyperCharge technology. Xiaomi 13T Pro is available in four colors: Alpine Blue, Meadow Green, Black. It is packed with 12 GB RAM while internal storage is 512 GB or 1TB.
The rear camera comes with 50 MP (wide) + 50 MP (telephoto) + 50 MP (ultrawide) while on the front, there is a single camera: 20 MP (wide).
