Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro design and build quality
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro’s case body measures 46 x 33.35 mm and 9.99 mm thin, crafted from an aluminum metal frame. The design of the Xiaomi fitness band series preserves its elongated shape with rounded ends, avoiding sharp corners. There are no side buttons on the device, and all operations are conducted through the touch display.
Optional designs
There are two unique editions of the smart band that you can choose from. One of them features a sleek black metal frame with a black TPU strap, while the other one, which we received for review, has a sophisticated silver frame and comes with a stylish grey color TPU strap.
The wrist strap can be changed, which is not only nice to look at, but also very useful. It can easily be adjusted to fit wrists measuring between 135 to 205 mm. The strap easily fastens to the band body case with a discreet snap connection at the end for extra convenience.
Elegant and Stylish Straps
Those looking for a change can effortlessly switch the strap to a variety of colors and materials, including leather, TPU, Nylon and metal. We had a truly exceptional experience when it came to replacing the straps – it required very little effort on our part. While the device currently does not support a necklace or a running shoe clip for alternative wearing styles, it’s very possible that Xiaomi will offer them in the near future.
Xiaomi offers a wide range of additional style designs available in various captivating flavors and vibrant colors. To replace the strap you will need to press both sides of the bracelets located on the rear side of the smart band.

Interchangeable watch faces
Another great design feature found in most watches and smart bands is the ability to download various watch face designs directly to the device, allowing for a personalized and customized appearance. Mi Fitness offers a wide array of face designs, with over 100 options, ensuring users have a multitude of choices to suit their individual preferences.
