After the Orange Pi Zero launch, a newer improved SBC was launched by Shenzhen Xunlong software under the name Orange Pi Zero2 — a new successor to the Zero with slightly larger dimensions and more power. The board is also outfitted with additional specs over its predecessors, keeping it relatively small with 63×53 mm dimensions.
Under the hood, the Orange Pi Zero2 is based on an Allwinner H616 SoC with a 64-Bit quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 CPU, Mali G31 MP2, 512Mb/1GB of LPDD3 RAM, and up to 32Gb of storage via micro SD card. The board packs a Micro-HDMI 2.0 port (video output), a USB 20 port, and a USB Type C port. Connectivity features dual-band WiFi support: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Wi-Fi 4/5), WiFi IPX antenna socket, Bluetooth 5.0, and 1GBps Ethernet. The board has a 26-pin header, 3-pin UART header, and 13-pin header, as well as power/status LEDs.
