UNIHIKER
DFRobot’s team has recently launched their latest product, the Unihiker Single Board Computer, which is integrated with a 2.8-inch display. This is similar to the previous HuskyLens board, which was launched two years ago, but it does not have a built-in camera. The newly released board dimensions are small, measuring 83 x 52 mm. Based on the low-power Rockchip RK3308 chipset, coupled with 512 MB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.

What can you do with the hardware?
A combination of hardware and embedded display makes this product an ideal choice for AI machine vision applications. This includes detecting objects, faces, lines, colors, and tags. Depending on your imagination, you can use it for security applications via face recognition, science projects, IoT including robots. In addition, you can use it for educational DIY projects to learn Python coding and other popular programming languages.
Software Support
Its design makes it easy for users to get started quickly. VS Code, Thonny, or standard text editors are also supported as development tools, including a Jupyter Notebook that is configured for the device’s on-board hardware. Python is the preferred language, with a control library called PinPong for hardware access, web interface, and MQTT support.
