A closer look at the RK808 keyboard

1. Build Quality
The MK808 body is constructed from metal, or possibly bent sheet metal on the back, although we are not completely certain. The upper main keys are made from high-quality ABS plastic, contributing to a lightweight product that weighs approximately ~184g. Our initial impression suggests excellent overall quality.
2. Design
The keyboard is made up of two separate parts connected by a flat ribbon and physically joined by two metal hinges secured with Phillips screws. This simple mechanism allows for easy folding and unfolding of the keyboard when necessary, which is especially useful if you want to carry it in a small bag.
3. Touchpad design
Measuring 25×51 mm, this device is compact yet performs exceptionally well and is highly responsive based on our personal experience. We found that we could control the cursor smoothly when connected to our Xiaomi Pad 2 tablet.

4. Operation
This keyboard is very user-friendly. It features a single power button (on/off) and two LED status lights: one indicates the battery power level, while the other shows the connection status. To charge the device’s battery, Riitek includes a USB-C charging cable in the package, which can be connected to any 5V power supply, such as a standard USB-A port.
5. Connectivity
This keyboard does not require a receiver dongle; it supports most devices with Bluetooth capabilities instead. To connect it to your desired device, simply enable the Bluetooth discovery option on the device to be controlled and select “Rii RK808BT.”
6. Controlling multiple Bluetooth devices
In addition to the features mentioned above, the RK808 can switch between multiple devices, supporting up to three. To make this easier, Riitek has assigned the A, S, and D keys for each profile, labeled as BT1, BT2, and BT3. For example, if you have a tablet, a mini PC, and a phone, you can control all of them seamlessly. You can quickly jump from typing on your laptop to replying to a text on your phone by simply pressing the shortcut keys (Fn + BT1), which takes only 1–2 seconds.
7. Maximum portability packed into a small bag
We also explored the following configuration with the RS201 16-inch monitor we recently tested. It’s a perfect match if you carry both inside a small bag.Connecting the display to a small form factor such as the Orange Pi W3 is a great option if you want to create a lightweight, compact workstation for on-the-go use. If this type of configuration does not appeal to you, you can always use a keyboard with a tablet PC.

7. Lightweight and easy to carry
We also weighed the product. It’s lightweight, and we believe its weight fluctuates between 184 and 185 grams. This makes it easy to carry, even in a small bag.
