Xunlong Unveils Next-Generation Edge AI Solutions at WAIC 2026 in Strategic Collaboration with Huawei and Arm China

SHANGHAI, July 17, 2026 — Xunlong Software, the creator of the globally renowned open-source hardware brand Orange Pi, today announced its prominent presence at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2026), held from July 17 to 20 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. Under the theme “Intelligent Partners, Co-creating the Future,” Orange Pi showcased its latest AI hardware innovations through joint exhibitions with industry giants Huawei and Arm China, emerging as a focal point in the edge computing and on-device intelligence sectors.

Empowering the Edge with the Huawei Ascend Ecosystem

At the Huawei “Edge Computing and All-in-One Machines” joint booth, Orange Pi highlighted two core products powered by Huawei Ascend 310 series processors, drawing significant attention from industry professionals:

  • Orange Pi AI Station: A powerful mini-PC that offers 176 TOPS of AI computing performance. Built on the Huawei Ascend 310P AI processor (7nm process), it features 16 CPU cores, 10 AI cores, and 8 vector computing cores. Supporting 48GB/96GB LPDDR4X memory (with a theoretical bandwidth of 204.8 GB/s) and NVMe M.2 SSD expansion, it efficiently runs mainstream open-source large language models like DeepSeek and LLaMA. It is purpose-built for smart security, intelligent transportation, healthcare, industrial automation, and embodied AI applications.
  • Orange Pi Robot 2: A high-performance embedded AI computing module tailored for next-generation robotics. Powered by the Ascend Atlas 310B, it integrates one DaVinci V300 AI core and four TAISHAN V200M processor cores, delivering 20 TOPS of AI compute with 12GB/24GB LPDDR4X memory options. Leveraging Ascend’s foundational software and hardware capabilities, it seamlessly integrates large models and unified training-inference advantages for robotics, smart cities, medical services, and industrial automation.

This collaboration highlights Orange Pi’s strong integration within the Huawei Ascend ecosystem. As a Huawei Ascend Diamond Partner, Orange Pi has previously been honored with both the “Ascend APN Outstanding Contribution Award” and the “Ascend APN Best Product Award.” Together, Orange Pi’s edge AI products and Huawei’s cloud computing solutions (including the newly unveiled Atlas 950 super-node) form a complete cloud-to-edge closed-loop ecosystem, demonstrating a clear pathway for AI deployment from data centers to real-world production environments.

Pioneering On-Device Agent Deployment with Arm China

In the Arm China exhibition area, OrangePi took part in the inaugural “Edge Agent One-Click Deployment Tool (JishuShell) Joint Exhibition Zone.” Arm China’s WAIC showcase focused on Edge AI, Physical AI, and Cloud AI, highlighting the JishuShell tool, which is designed to help developers rapidly deploy and run AI agents on Arm-based devices through a fully automated, end-to-end workflow.

OrangePi showcased three versatile products in this zone, forming a comprehensive “hardware + software” edge AI solution:

  • Orange Pi 6: A high-performance edge AI development board featuring the Xinci P1 12-core 64-bit processor. It delivers a combined 45 TOPS of AI compute (CPU+NPU+GPU), including a 28.8 TOPS NPU, and supports high-speed LPDDR5 memory (up to 6400MT/s), dual NVMe SSDs, dual 2.5G Ethernet, and multiple display outputs.
  • Orange Pi CM6 Pro: A compact core module (69.6mm × 45mm) based on the same platform, utilizing a SODIMM 260-pin connector to pack 45 TOPS of combined AI compute into a highly integrable form factor, enabling developers to rapidly embed it into diverse terminal devices.
  • Orange Pi Zero 3W: An ultra-cost-effective mini development board (30mm × 65mm) powered by the Allwinner A733 octa-core heterogeneous processor (2× Cortex-A76 + 6× Cortex-A55, up to 2.0GHz). It offers 3 TOPS of NPU compute and supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5 memory.

Live demonstrations at the “Edge AI” zone allowed attendees to experience the seamless, practical workflow of adapting and deploying on-device AI agents using JishuShell and OrangePi hardware.

Driving the Future of Ubiquitous AI

OrangePi’s joint showcases with Huawei and Arm China at WAIC 2026 mark a significant milestone in the company’s AI hardware strategy, reflecting strong industry recognition. By offering a comprehensive product matrix ranging from 176 TOPS AI mini-PCs to highly cost-effective 3 TOPS development boards, OrangePi is bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and practical industrial applications.

“AI is rapidly transitioning from technological breakthroughs to tangible industrial deployment,” said a representative from Xunlong Software. “Through our strategic collaborations with Huawei Ascend for cloud-edge synergy and Arm China for on-device toolchain integration, we are accelerating the journey of AI computing power out of data centers and into every real-world scenario that demands intelligence.”
