Given that this board does not include a 5V power connector for a fan, we strongly suggest using the GPIO header pins as illustrated. The STARFIVE JH7110 chip measures approximately 17x17mm; therefore, a passive fan measuring 20mm or even 15x15mm is also recommended. An excellent choice would be to install an active heatsink equipped with a 25x25mm integrated fan, ensuring optimal cooling efficiency (see the images provided below for reference).
We connected the 5V power supply through pins 4 and 6 in the color-coded GPIO header, marked distinctly in red for power and black for ground, to power our heatsink fan. For further clarification, please consult the diagram below.
