The M7 offers support for Ubuntu, Debian, and Armbian operating systems, thus providing users with a good array of options. Additionally, there are plans to introduce an OpenWrt Image, which will further enhance the board’s flexibility and expand the range of possibilities. This transforms the product into a portable mini PC and a router, making it incredibly versatile.
That being said, our personal user experience playing with the board running Ubuntu 22.04 was excellent. Everything worked smoothly, without any noticeable lags or major issues. The 32GB of RAM definitely helps in running apps. With 32GB of RAM, only 1GB is utilized for system resources.
